| HELLO EVERYONE!!!!! and welcome back to the real world....i know that you've been allowed back on, but now you are all back at home and not within the confinds of Maranatha rules.
Anyway, even though it's been forever since i wrote there really isn't that much new.....i HATE where i work...Ruby Tuesday....and can't wait to quite. I told one of the managers that i'm putting in my two weeks, but he said to tell the General Manager (makes sense). So, i don't really know where i'm going to work, but i really hate it there.
Oh, i SKATE BOARD now!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! it is soooo addicting!!! for a while all i wanted to do was skateboard...i didn't want to do any homework, or work, just skate all day long. this is how i got into it. My friend tim is a skateboarder, and he asked me if i wanted to go to the skate park, and i was like heck yes, and i was going to roller blade. but i don't like my blades, so i was going to buy new ones, but i couldn't find any!! so i told tim to find me a skateboard for the park, and that was the first time i successfully stayed up on a board. then 2 days later, i called tim and was like, i want a board. So he helped me pick one out (i had to order it which actually made me mad, because i wanted it the same day, oh well) and then 2 days later, i got it!!! so Tim helps me learn new stuff.....i've been doing it about 2.5 months.
School just finished last thursday, so now i'm just supposed to be working alot, but since i hate my job, i don't feel like working any more hours than normal. Thats about it.....

| Well, i don't even know why i'm writing anymore, b/c all the MBBC ppl can't get to this site anyway....but whatever.....Things are kind of crazy right now. I work about 35 hours, and have 16 credits! the most i've worked with a full time school load! but it's ok.....except midterms are coming up this week! so i don't know how i'll do on those....
Nothing really new....just pray for my friend, he needs salvation.

| i LOVE my job!!!! It is sooo much fun....i'm by my self for the first time tomorrow night. The people i work with are really nice, and fun....and my managers are really nice and they are funny! And i'm skipping astronomy class and lab on tuesday to work b/c it's V-day, and no one wants to work! it's going to be uber busy, so i was like heck yeah, i'll work! it SNOWED last night!!!!! somewhere around 8+ inches....and all churches were closed today...: ( but that was the only sad part....i haven't seen snow since i left WI!!! so i was really, really happy! i actaully went out and played in the snow with my bf, and we made a snowman together! we even used a carrot, scarf, hat, rocks (for the eyes) and sticks (for mouth and arms). Then we took some pics with her camera....we're such nerds! but we had fun so it's okay! anyway, that's about it... | | |
| So i had my first follow today! it was fun, the girl was nice, and let me keep one of the table's tips $5...hey it's a starts. And i like the people, and the food is good,.....there is a different mentality with the customers at Ruby Tuesday then at Pusser's....pusser's is viewed as a more up scale restaurant (even though the uniform is much more casual) and therefore, richer people come in and leave bigger tips....with Ruby Tuesday, i guess people view it as more casual (even though the uniform is very formal) and they leave smaller tips...but i'll probably work doubles a lot, and make more money. Now i normally go to school all day on tuesday, but since it is valintine's day (THE suckiest day of the year), and hardly anyone was scheduled to work, i decided to skip school to work that night....i know i'll make a killing then! and i work monday night, so i'll make a ton then too (b/c our special stated today and runs until tuesday)...so that's a blessing
Anway, school is going good other than that....i miss Maranatha and all my friends (you 5 who are the only ones who read this) and can't wait to get back!!!! | | |
| So i got the job at Ruby Tuesdays!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i am super happy about that! but i have to buy this special uniform....the darkest blue jeans, fugly black shoes, and a white button up collered shirt...so the shoes are at walmart, but i can't really find a white shirt, and the jeans are kinda tricky to know which color is darkest. i have a ton of homework, and now stuff to read for work....
but i'm kinda bummed out right now, so i'm going to go before i end up telling everything. | | |
